How about a UUM CAS day folks?

Fancy meeting and getting to know our professors? Dream no more. UUM CAS day is coming. Loads of exciting activities with prizes sponsored by our beloved professors, are planned.

Professors ... don't sweat ya!! We're not asking for much .. after all seperti iklan American Express: Duit boleh dicari .. tetapi senyuman anak-anak UUM CAS tak ternilai harganya. Besides, the event will only be conducted next July - plenty of time for all of you to fill up your piggy-charity-box!!

Students ... as usual, if you're interested in becoming a part of the organizing commitee, email me at enazri@uum.edu.my before 30 March 2009.

The World Coming to Terengganu

We are looking for interested students to join our working commitee for this "homestay/kampung angkat" program for our UUM CAS international students. Our first destination will be Kuala Terengganu. If the program is a success, we'll expand the program to other states as well.
For international students who would like to take this opportunity to get to know Terengganu - get ready!!

Email me at
enazri@uum.edu.my before 15 March 2009. International students are also encouraged to be in the committee.

Working Committee

We have set up two working committees to smoothen our operations here particularly in making sure lots and lots of activities are planned and conducted, AND at the same time lots and lots of money are generated as well.

The 2 committees are:

1. Student development

2. Entrepreneurship and wealth generation.

So guys ... if you have any great and killer ideas, don't hesitate to share them with us. Email us at nawawi@uum.edu.my

October's EKUUM

I have committed myself (and as a result of that, bringing the whole UUM CAS team as well) to be the caretaker/organizer of the next EKUUM which is sheduled to be held in October 2009. The tentative theme of the celebration is "FIRST CHOICE UNIVERSITY".

I have instructed the UUM CAS Student Council team to look for volunteers among CAS students who might be interested to be a part of the organizing committee. While they are busy collecting names, I would also like to invite everyone (both the academic and the non-academic staff) to come forward and volunteer. Ideally, the committee should consist of at least a representative each from each state in Malaysia. I'll explain the reason later. As for now I just need the volunteers as we need to start working NOW!!

Interested individuals can contact me directly at ext-3800 or email me at enazri@uum.edu.my.

Who Are We?

Sorry guys ... I know this segment should've been posted earlier. But being a novice at this and a little bit apprehensive about the whole blogging thingy .. I kinda thought that I should wait until I get the approval from my immediate boss - our PNC Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suhaidi, of course!! Well...he has given the greenlight for me to proceed.

So, in my next entry I'll reveal the team. It might take a bit of time as I'm in the process of collecting pictures and getting the consent from the gang.

Sabaq no ...

In the mean time, I present to you our PNC.

Our Jubli Perak Celebration

Despite not being placed in the top 3, we were proud of ourselves for being the noisiest, the most creative and not to mention, the longest team.

Why do I create this blog??

Wanna know why?

Here are some of the many reasons that I can think of:

1. To tell all of you about UUM CAS - particularly with regards to our past, current, and future student development and entrepreneurship activities.

2. To provide an avenue for all of you to give comments, views and suggestions to make UUM CAS better.

3. To show how much all of you are missing out by not wanting to take part or participate in our activities.
